At my District conference I had Evan Burrell as a speaker and he was absolutely inspirational.

He was able to craft a message aligning to the conference theme for our audience that combined his expertise with social media and Rotary. He certainly connected with the audience embracing diversity.

By combining humor, examples, and an informal but highly focused presentation, he demonstrated his command of how to communicate and gave the audience useful take-aways.

True learning took place. The audience left feeling excited and motivated. They were certainly inspired.

Evan was one of our Key Note Speakers at our Rotary District 9670 Conference held in Mudgee in March 2016. Evan is the man to deliver the hard-hitting message that not everyone wants to hear. He does this tactfully in an entertaining and humorous way with a high-quality degree of professionalism.

Evan is a fabulously engaging speaker with a relevant story to tell. I say book him in for your next event. You won't be disappointed.

I had Evan as the keynote speaker at the Rotary District 7070 (Canada) virtual conference. I am so grateful for his patience as we changed the date many times due to the COVID19 pandemic and his commitment to us having to present at 1am in his time zone.

Evan’s presentation was inspirational, informative and humorous. He is a true thought leader in Rotary, challenging us to think differently, not fear change, and properly market all the good we do in the world.

I met Evan and heard him speak at the Rotary International Convention in Atlanta, USA in 2017 and then, as the chairperson for Rotary District 7630’s Annual Conference, I contracted with him to speak at our conference and two other conferences in our area in 2018. His presentation focused on keeping current and relevant in a time when Rotary Club membership is dwindling. He gave our members many ideas regarding using social media to improve our image and to attract younger members. He has an energy in front of the audience that was not intimidating or off-putting (considering the age differences in the audience). His passion and energy for Rotary, social media and change are evident and inspiring.

It has been a great pleasure working with Evan during our North East Presidents Elect Training Seminar 2021 event

We did a rehearsal call about a week before the main event, and Evan was super professional about sharing his own PowerPoint presentation to maximize the dynamic nature of his talk and his rapid-pace slide changes. Evan and I talked about backup procedures, so I had a copy of his PowerPoint - just in case there was any connectivity issue between Australia and the United States that day. We jointly walked through his presentation, so that I was comfortable running slides for him, if that became necessary. He also provided us with backup videos of prior presentations, so that - worst case scenario, if he could not connect - we could run those backup videos. On the day of the event, Evan was on time and logged in early, so we could make him a co-host on Zoom. Everything worked smoothly in his presentation, and he added super-timely and fun video content that had just come out in the days leading up to the event.

Working with Evan was rewarding and he was 100% professional throughout the entire experience. I had previously seen Evan present at in-person events e.g. at the Rotary International Convention in Toronto, so I can vouch for his skills both at in-person events and online.

All of this has been validated by the survey we conducted with our (NEPETS) participants, and I am happy to share the following anonymized data with you:

  • 96.7% said that the presenter had a good grasp of the subject matter

  • 92.6% said that the presenter was engaging/inspiring

  • In the overall question "Please indicate any presenters who inspired you" overall of the six days of NEPETS 2021, 80.3% said Evan Burrell
